Nathan (Nate) Starr has lived in Central Oregon since July of 1998 when he came here to work with Bend Lock and Safe as a locksmith and still works weekend emergency calls for them. In 2001, Nate transitioned into healthcare maintenance with Bend Memorial Clinic and has been the Director of Facilities since 2008. While at BMC he has been in charge of building development and remodels. His recent accomplishment was the 815 Bond Street building where was in charge of the remodel and conversion of the 42,000 sq. ft. building into the BMC primary care clinic. He also was in charge of the conversion of the 17,800 sq. ft. Redmond Clinic from a shell building into another BMC primary care facility.

Nate served our country as an Army Infantryman stationed at Fort Riley, Kansas. Nate and his wife Rita have two children, Katelyn  and Daniel . Nate enjoys the outdoors, fishing and hunting. He is involved in many activities in within the Alfalfa community.
